Dear Church Family:

Julie and I can hardly wait to be back with you all on July 12. Our sabbatical has

been a great time to relax and reflect on all that God has done and on what He is

leading us, as a church, to do moving forward.

One of the things I prayed for during my first days away was for God to make me

more of a worshipper. I have worshipped Jesus since I was a child, but I was

convicted that my life needed to love and enjoy Jesus in a much deeper and more

comprehensive way. As always, God has been faithful to guide my heart. I will be

bringing much of what He has done in my life to you all in a sermon series on

worship called “All-inclusive Worship” beginning on July 12.

I am so grateful for Jimmy and our team who have done such an amazing job in

our absence. It is wonderful to watch God work through leaders He is raising up.

We are finishing our sabbatical in Treasure Cay Bahamas, a place of peace and

restoration God has used for years in our lives. We have missed you all. We look

forward to catching up with what God has been doing in each of you.
